Welcome to the Elementary School Ministry

Our purpose on UpStreet is to guide each child to discover Christ's love personally so that they will always understand what is really important. Each week we discuss three basic truths based on the life of Jesus from Luke 2:52 "And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men." The three basic truths are:

I need to make the WISE CHOICE.

I can TRUST GOD no matter what.

I should TREAT OTHERS the way I want to be treated.

Sunday Morning on UpStreet:

Welcoming (10 minutes)
Children are greeted at their individual classrooms by their Coach and Small Group Leader. The children hang out with their peers and small group leader and play a fun game that leads into the Bible story.

Large Group Environment (30 minutes)
Children are moved into the large group environment. Here they participate in a meaningful time of worship, engage with the host who communicates the virtue and three basic truths and hear a Bible story presentation given by a master teacher.

Small Group Environment (20 minutes)
Children then travel back to their classroom for Small Group time. In small groups the leader builds a relationship with the children through discussion, activities and prayer. Each of these activities are centered around "the bottom line" of the Bible story for that particular week.

UpStreet is open on Sunday mornings at 9:30 and 11:15.
